Donate Items

Since City Rescue Mission is a nonprofit organization, we operate heavily on donations from our supporters and the community at large. All gift in-kind donations are tax deductible, and donations are supplied with a donations receipt at the time of donation. Gifts in-kind can be dropped off Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. at 800 W. California Avenue, Oklahoma City, Ok  73106.

City Rescue Mission serves three meals a day, every single day. Help us continue to stand in the gap for those in need! Donation items include:

Since City Rescue Mission serves men, women, and families, we have an average of 50-60 children living in our facility at any given time. Help our kids go to school ready, prepared, and fully equipped to achieve success! Typical items needed include

Medical Supplies
Many individuals who are living in a homeless state of being, or living inside our facility face mild to severe medical diagnosis and obstacles on a daily basis. Items commonly needed and most frequently used include

  • Cold and Flu Medications (Benadryl, Cough Drops & Sinus Medications)
  • Pain Relievers (Ibuprofen & Tylenol)
  • Antacid Heart Burn Medication
  • Foot Powder and Relief Creams
  • Bandages & Wraps (All Sizes)

 

Clothing
City Rescue Mission is committed to providing for individuals no matter what circumstances they may be coming from. Since our clients come from unpredictable and chaotic situations, it’s difficult to know what items they may most desperately need. Providing clothing is a tangible way for our supporters to show that they care. Items commonly needed include

  • Jeans (Men, Women, & Children) (All Sizes)

  • Men’s Work Boots
  • Tennis Shoes (Men, Women, & Children) (All Sizes)

Furniture
City Rescue Mission’s clients may walk into our facility with nowhere else to turn. They may not have any belongs, a home, or furniture for various reasons. Once our clients have time to heal, gain hope, and a clear direction for success, City Rescue Mission wants to help send them back into society with everything they may need. If you’d like to donate furniture, the most commonly needed items include

  • Dining Room Tables
  • Television Stands
  • Kitchen Appliances & Utensils

For the safety of our clients, please make sure that all medical, food and personal hygiene items are new and unopened.
