Volunteer Ministry Program

Volunteers are an integral part of City Rescue Mission.  Each year, more than 300 people provide valuable support for our staff and residents.  Together with the commitment of our volunteers’ time and talents, we are able to provide high-quality programs and services to meet the unique needs of an ever-increasing number of homeless guests.  As responsible stewards of our financial resources, we covet the opportunity to bring more and more volunteer individuals, families and groups into our ministry family.

Working hand-in-hand with Mission staff and seeing the homeless and hurting men, women and children we serve firsthand can be a life-changing experience.  We often hear volunteers share how their lives have been blessed tremendously by the people we care for.
