I just wanted to send a big thank you to a couple of Churches that partner with CRM on a very regular and consistent level. Neither of these groups will be pleased that I'm bragging on them but I wanted to let them know how much we appreciate them and how valuable their service is to CRM. First, thanks "New Life Church of God in Christ." This team comes once a month, they bring food and a team to prepare the meal. They have been consistently coming since 2001 "that's nine years if your counting" and they do an incredible job.

The second group is the "Draper Christian Church Bread Ministry." It's never about the numbers but let me hit you with some numbers anyway. They bring 240 loaves of bread every Thursday, rain or shine. In a year's time, that's 12,480 loaves of bread. At $1.80 per loaf, that's around $22,460.00 per year and they have been showing up every Thursday for at least five years, maybe a lot longer.

God is good, He never changes and His ways are perfect. Thanks guys for giving us a glimpse of His heart through your consistency, service and generosity.

Spring break is almost upon us and that means we will have lots of groups coming in to volunteer. That's good news for everyone, as we can get some much needed deep cleaning work done here in the kitchen. Bring your grungy clothes and get ready to get after it! Call or email Seth Patterson (spatterson@cityrescue.org) for volunteer information.

Meals this week include spaghetti & meat balls, turkey pot pie, pizza, clam chowder, ham & beans, chicken fajitas, and lots of potatoes. We got over 16 tons of potatoes last week! so if you know of any non-profit organizations that could use some potatoes, have them get in touch with me at 517-3164 or sstevenson@cityrescue.org.

Greetings from the kitchen

God continues to open the heavens and pour out His generosity to the CRM. Donations of food and supplies for the month totaled over $65,000. That adds up to tons of food that we are able to prepare and serve with little or no cash from our operating budget. Three meals a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year; that's a little hard to fathom sometimes but God, through the hearts and hands of His people, is doing an amazing thing at CRM. If you'd like to see for yourself, call or come by. You won't be disappointed.

We have had teams from all over OKC Metroplex, as well as groups from outside our immediate area, and withour fail, God shows up and teaches all of us a little more about Jesus as we learn to work together.

The large amount of donations continues to leave me in awe and we are grateful to those of you who bless us so generously with food, supplies, clothes, and cash. We are truly able to witness "loaves and fishes" on a weekly basis.
